Opportunities for Peer Mentors!

Sometimes being in care can be hard. Not everyone knows what it’s like, but if you've been there you probably do.

We need volunteer mentors who have personal experience of Care or Children’s Hearings and now have time to give to individuals walking the same path. If you can help, we want to meet you. As well as giving 1-2-1 support, there is a place for groups and fun activity. In return for your time, we offer training, support and cover expenses. We will learn together about what is helpful to young people.

This work is supported with funding from the Life Changes Trust. The Trust is funded by the Big Lottery. For more information, please contact stacy.quinn@u-2-u.org

The Up-2-Us team and Time for Change young women organised and held a McMillan coffee morning on Friday. We baked many cakes and tray bakes the day before and took care of the fine details and planning. We raised over £200 on the day and had a lot of fun.
